Commonly Asked Questions
How are the kids divided?
Kids are grouped co-ed (girls and boys mixed) by their age.
What do the kids do all day?
Each group follows its own schedule. Activity periods are 45 minutes long and may include activities such as arts & crafts, sports (soccer, basketball, hockey, wiffleball, dodgeball, etc.), MagiQuest, Foam Frenzy, Lazer Runner, Bumper Cars, Free Fall, E-Karts and other Funplex attractions. After lunch, the kids have free swim and elective periods. Elective activities change each week and are chosen by the kids during lunch on Mondays. The elective and free swim periods are 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
Where do you get your counselors?
Camp staff has returned to us year after year. Parents or other staff members referred most of the staff to the camp. They complete staff training in camp management, safety, and child interactions prior to the start of camp. Most of our senior counselors are college students with a minimum age of 18. Our junior counselors must be 16 years old.
Do you have swimming?
Free swim is a part of each group's schedule every day. We also offer swim lessons as an optional program.
Do you have lifeguards?
State law requires us to have 1 Certified lifeguard for every 30 campers in the water - NO EXCEPTIONS! We keep a staff of 3 lifeguards every day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
How much does camp cost?
Each camp week costs $305 for the first child and $285 for each additional child per week, plus a $35 registration fee per child. If you register for six or more weeks, these fees decrease by $10 each week.
Can I only pay for 3 days per week?
Camp fees are based upon a 5-day week only. Sorry, no exceptions.
How does lunch work?
Many campers choose our lunch program, which includes a variety of options, for an additional fee. Campers may also bring their own lunch, which is stored indoors for them.
Does the camp utilize The Funplex facility with the public?
Funplex attractions are scheduled in the mornings before we are open to the public, so the campers have the complex to themselves.  There will be occasions when our kids are in the facility after noon.  We place staff at all exits and always take necessary precautions.  In the event of rain, we make use of The Funplex attractions and have other indoor activities. During these times we take extra precautions to ensure the safety of your child.
How do I register?
All we require is a $305 deposit and $35 registration fee with a completed registration form per child.  You will receive a registration confirmation, medical form, and a calendar of special events and elective dates in the mail.  Your deposit will be applied directly to your camp balance.  All balances are due by June 15th.
